~ Students will be able to research the natural disaster of their choice and show understanding of the impact and the weather pattern, by demonstrating that in their piece and pulling inspiration from the given contemporary artists. ~ Students will be able to use Screencast-O-Matic to capture clips of natural disasters and be able to arrange them together in Video Editor in order to show the context behind the natural disaster of their choice. ~ Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the impact of video projection over their 2d artwork abstractly in the final presentation (Envision and Critique to Reflect, GLE_1, SHoM_Reflect; Art Learning: Abstract Drawing, Technology: Video Projection)
~ Students will be able to give feedback and appreciate other people’s works during the whole class critique. (Envision and critique to Reflect- GLE_1, SHoM_Reflect; Art learning_ Critique)
~ Students will be able to demonstrate planning and brainstorming by creating three possible sketches in their sketchbook of the final 2d piece and choose which sketch would most successfully demonstrate emotion and impact of chosen natural disaster.
