Hello friends! My name is Isabel Fernandez. I am an aspiring future Art Educator. I can't wait for a classroom of my own where I can express and share my passion for the many ways to create and appreciate art. My path to choosing this career was a little different than others. I have coached gymnastics to all ages since I turned the ripe age of 14 until I began my student teaching 7 years later. This unique first job opened my eyes to how important children are to our future and just how much I want to be a part of impacting that.

I attended CSU and earned my B.F.A in Art Education with a concentration in Drawing, and I have my Associate of Arts from Front Range Community College which I obtained when graduating from high school.

Some fun facts about me: I love coffee (well caffeine in general), teaching, dogs, the outdoors, pottery and metalsmithing, painting, drawing, and sunny days!
