My concept relates to chapter 2 of Teaching Meaning in Art Making by Walker through the way in which I took the "big Idea" of Culture and personally connecting to it by choosing to reflect my own personal culture and passion for coffee. Based on this teaching theory, I will be more connected to my art piece and art making process, as well as overall more engaged in the whole process.
